Couple therapy - $180/hr

PAYMENT
All payments will be accepted at the time of service. Payment can be made with all major credit cards, cash, check, PayPal, or Venmo.

INSURANCE

Individual Therapy
I am currently accepting BCBS, Aetna, and State Health Plan. 

Couple Therapy
At some point, most relationships could use the support of therapy. Still, insurance companies get away with not covering couple counseling if it’s meant to address issues specifically related to the relationship. Only in cases where treatment is specifically addressing a patient’s diagnosed condition, similar to individual therapy, is “conjoint” or “family therapy” reimbursable. Essentially, the vast majority of couple therapy does not meet the “medical necessity” criteria for coverage.

Out-of-Network Clients
I can provide a Superbill for you to submit for out-of-network benefits.

PRIVATE PAY
For some people, therapy is an extremely private undertaking. If you choose not to use your insurance, we don’t have to disclose diagnoses to insurance companies, and there will be no mental health diagnosis on your permanent health record. Your participation in mental health treatment will be known only to you.
